Rocky Mountain Fetherbed, which was one of the first to adopt waterproof material, the most high-tech material at the time in 1974, and created a mountain parka with a single leather yoke, has released an ANATOMICA exclusive model.
RMFB's mountain parka has had an important influence on the history of American outdoor wear, and in 1974 they were one of the first to use GORE-TEX®, a high-tech material at the time, to create a mountain parka made from a single piece of leather.
The fabric used is deadstock Gore-Tex from the US military.
The classic length means that the hem does not show even when worn over a jacket, so it will not interfere with your outfit.
It features a high collar to keep out the wind and a stowable hood that is specialized for heat retention, combining design and functionality.
The yoke is made from a single piece of luxurious leather, a Rocky Mountain Featherbed specialty.
It uses a combination tanning process that uses tannins to create a natural texture and chrome for a durable finish.
The diagonally placed zippered chest pocket makes it easy to take things in and out while wearing the jacket, and the flap pocket is double-layered so you can put your hands in from the side to use as a hand warmer.
