Pierre Fournier opened ANATOMICA in Paris, France in 1994 in order to revive the traditional European fashion that had been lost or was in the process of being lost from the men's scene at the time. He developed an "anatomical" collection that focused on history, tradition, and his own sense of fit. After that, his meeting with Kinji Teramoto in 2006 gave ANATOMICA a new direction. Through the filter of the two men, American-style garments made with Japanese craftsmanship were born.
