ANATOMICA developed the original last and produced 12 samples to create this classic sneaker.
-Because we place the utmost importance on fitting, we have not previously offered online shopping, but we have now completed a ``paper measurement sheet'' that allows you to measure your feet by yourself at home, and this is the first time it has been available on our official online store.
-It has an "asymmetrical inside straight/outside curve" shape that is unique to orthopedic shoes (medical corrective shoes).
・The arch of the foot is held in place, and there is a margin at the toe. This creates a stress-free fit. Because the shoes have a margin, it is ideal for there to be nothing that hits the toes. The ideal size is one that gives you more room at the toes than your usual shoes, and also provides support at the arch.
- The sneakers use a vulcanized manufacturing process that is not commonly used these days. Instead of sewing the canvas upper and rubber sole together, they are pressed together to create a soft, barefoot feel.

Materials: Paper measurement sheet, tape, pen, 1 box-shaped object. Print out the paper measurement sheet (please print it at "actual size" on A4 size paper. If the print size is off, the measurement value will be off.)
2. Fold the paper along the "guide line" on the measuring sheet.
3. Place a box-shaped object (you can use stacked books or magazines instead) along the wall, align the folded edge of the measurement sheet with it, and secure it to the floor with tape.
4. Align your heel with the "guide line," and if it's your left foot, align the inside of your left foot with the vertical "guide line." At this time, keep your feet together and look straight down in a natural position. Mark the point indicated by the longest part of your foot with a pen. (Be careful not to injure your toes.) This will be your foot length. If you lean forward too much, or conversely, put your weight on the back, you may choose the wrong size.
5. Measure your other foot in the same way. This is because most people have a difference between their left and right feet. Measure both feet and choose the size of the longer one. If you are unsure about the width or instep height of your foot, please be sure to contact us. We recommend taking a photo from directly above and inquiring. Depending on the width and instep of your foot, we may recommend that you choose a size half a size larger or smaller than the size indicated by the foot length.
