ITEM INFORMATION
ANATOMICA's classic vest.
The beach cloth vest is a wardrobe essential.
Beach cloth is a wool and cotton material that has long been available in America, and is a highly insulating material that was used for cold weather clothing before the advent of innovative materials such as padding and down.
The official organizational name is Russell Knit.
To recreate this fabric, Pierre and Teramoto worked closely with the production team through much trial and error.
This material, which takes a long time to weave into fabric, is becoming rare.
The simple structure, which simply involves piping and joining together each piece of fabric, is a sewing technique also seen in vintage items.
The elegant silhouette is exquisitely shaped at the waist and features original dot buttons engraved with Anatomica's A.
The BEACH CLOTH material name is placed on the back of the body.
This comes in three colors: salt pepper, commonly known as sesame salt, navy, and burgundy.
